Denim Corsets 

Using a surplus trouser leg to design and create a corseted back top with shoulder straps. Learning basic upcycling and pattern cutting techniques, how to attach straps, attach panels, finish seams, hems and using a number of decoration techniques to create a corseted style denim top.

The participates will be creating garments with the option for them to be worn (ideally by the children themselves) in a local Dame Hannah’s fashion show on the 20th August.

Max places: 6 per workshop (2 extra negotiable, if owning and bringing own machines)
Ages: 10 – 18
Abilities: Basic sewing know-how good but not essential
Cost: £10 per person per workshop
